Style and The Chelsea Flower Show

The Chelsea Flower Show always seems to entice women to wear floral dresses and accessories as if they should fit in with the theme and event they are attending. As the event is in Chelsea, and quite a posh thing to go to, these floral dresses are always quite demure (see picture number 3 for prime example). However amongst the many style shots that Vogue or other fashion photographers take at this event, I often always prefer the outfits of the women who refuse to play camouflage.  Instead they dress for themselves (see pictures 1 and 2). Cheers to these well dressed posh totties.  I think they look fabulous.

(I want to wear this to work everyday)

Style File: At the Coffee Shop

Boring post?  Yes probably.  But I thought I would share with you, blog reader, that I did drink coffee the other day and that I was wearing clothes.  Nothing out of the ordinary really.  I mean you wouldn't have a coffee naked would you?

I wore:
Grey Beanie: Zara
Neon sequin grey jumper: Whistles
Necklace: South Africa
Nails: Jessica
Leather Look Leggings: Miss Selfridge
Coat: Zara TRF
Watch: Longines
Shoes: Long black riding boots by Bertie

You have probably gained nothing from reading this post.  Its not like your learning to cook a delicious healthy recipe or learning about a cool new clothing brand.  If anything this post is just to show off that I like my wardrobe and the coffee is good at a cafe called Margo and Julia's in Parsons Green. So thanks.

Style File: A Day at the Cricket

Since being in South Africa I have done some pretty cool things.  One of them was going to watch the South African Protea's (cricket team) play against New Zealand.  The match took place at Newlands Cricket ground. Newlands is just outside of the centre of Cape Town right next to Table Mountain.

To the Cricket I wore: Leather looking leggings (Warehouse)
Purple Converse
Blue and Cream Strip Jumper by Jigsaw
Necklace from Topshop
Cap by LA Dogers (Baseball team)
Bric's Handbag

Purple Converse

So back to the cricket.. well I cant tell you much because I wasn't paying great attention to the game.  Instead I sat next to Niquitta (friend) and rabbited about all things current.  The atmosphere was amazing and we did join in on the woops and cheers when South Africa got 'out' the opponents, and not to mention the mexican wave that circulated the stadium.

Phil and Andy in our seats in the stadium

One of the best things about Newlands Stadium was the veiw we had of Table Mountain right behind the cricket ground.  The only problem we had was that we were in the sun.  After drinking beers and diet cokes, munching on biltong and being burnt to a cinder, we left the stadium with a South African victory.
